Avataq Artists’ Assistance
Thanks to a multi-year agreement with the Ministère de la culture et des communication du Québec, Avataq Cultural Institute offers a second grant program: Avataq Artists' Assistance, which also has two kinds of grants:
Type A: grants for projects concerning public performances
(Maximum: $5000)
Type B: grants for individual or group projects by artists
(Maximum $2500)
Because funding is limited, if an artist or group has received an Avataq grant in one fiscal year, they may not receive another grant in the year immediately following. Avataq is also unable to fund projects that have already been completed.
There is no deadline – applications to Avataq Artsts' Assistance are accepted all year round.
