An all-new song by Elisapie Isaac, composed and performed with Manuel Gasse, who played guitar on her most recent tour, is available exclusively on Radio-Canada’s website.

The song is trilingual – Inuktitut, English and French – and was written by the friends during a visit to the Îles-de-la-Madeleine last August. A video showing the process of making the new song is also available on the site. Isaac and Gasse have also recorded a visual clip in which they perform the song on their latest stay in Iqaluit, also shown on the bottom of the page.

Elisapie Isaac is nominated for Quebec artist of the year (other-language performance) at this year’s ADISQ awards, the annual Quebec music industry awards. The winner will be announced on November 1.
